Over the last few years we have been been commissioned for a range of advice projects providing policy development and design advice to a variety of organisations and individuals, all of whom have shown a real dedication to creating favourable conditions for children's play. This blog provides a list of some of the work we have carried out, if you're interested in the sorts of advice we can provide and the range of clients we work for take a look at this.

Play and risk management policy and accompanying guidance produced for Chester Zoo.

Three information sheets for Play Wales including: Creativity and Tool Use in Play Settings, Older Children Play Too and Play Sufficiency and the Roles of Playwork.

Operational planning for the Play-Work exhibition at Ty Pawb in Wrexham, including the design and co-construction of an adventure playground style playscape in the main art gallery.

Working with Sandwell Council enabling them to implement our play sufficiency assessment process, through a knowledge transfer partnership with the local authority’s play team (ongoing).

Supervision and mentoring support for the Play Development Manager at AVOW who run The Land Adventure Playground in Plas Madoc (ongoing).

Play policy development support and staff mentoring for Brymbo Heritage Trust.

Play portfolio and training resource produced for Wild Kind CIC.

Play sufficiency assessment consultancy support for the Isle of Anglesey County Council.

Submission of advice and guidance to Hackney Council regarding play sufficiency and the development of child friendly cities, with ZCD Architects.

Commissioned by Nils Norman to support community engagement and the development of recommendations for the redevelopment of spaces for play in Mereside, Blackpool.

Working with the Turner Prize winning collective Assemble, to produce materials for their film about play and playwork: ‘The Voices of Children’.

Design and implementation of play interventions at the Murmurations conference in Chester.
